DCS-MP | Dimmer for iCS 2, iCS 3, and iCS 3S (i3S) Lights

The Advanced Illumination DCS-MP Dimmer is a precision inline light controller designed for repeatable, accurate brightness adjustment on iCS-driven machine vision lighting. Compatible with the iCS 2 (i2S), iCS 3 (i3), and iCS 3S (i3S) Drivers, this detented 30-position potentiometer gives integrators fine, repeatable control over LED illumination intensity in industrial inspection and automation setups. Built for factory-floor durability, the DCS-MP features a flip-up protective cover over the potentiometer to prevent accidental adjustments, along with spring-clamp wiring terminals for a vibration-proof connection in high-motion environments. Its compact housing supports both DIN-rail and panel mounting, making it easy to integrate into existing control cabinets or enclosures. A newly added M12 selector switch extends compatibility to M12-based iCS 2 and iCS 3 lights. Rated for operation from -25°C to 57°C and certified to CE and RoHS standards, this dimmer is engineered for reliable performance in demanding machine vision applications.
